Air-conditioning: ALKMENE is fully air-conditioned; temperature can be set individually by office. The conference area on the 7th floor is also equipped with a chilled ceiling, to provide maximum comfort. Atrium: The landscaped atrium provides easy access to the elevator banks, stairwells and the entrance to the underground parking garage. The integrated lighting design enhances the open architecture and the profile of the building. Bicycle racks: Bicycle racks are located near the main entrance on Mainzer Landstrasse. Cafeteria/Kitchen: The cafeteria is located on the 1st basement level, capable of seating 300 employees at a time; the kitchen is equipped to serve up to 800 meals per day. Conference rooms: The gallery area on the 7th floor is available for conferences. Delivery/Loading area: Accessible from both Mainzer Landstrasse and Westendstrasse, making it possible to deliver to the building directly by truck. Elevator banks: ALKMENE has six elevators with high-quality fittings marrying natural stone, stainless steel, glass and wood. Two are equipped as freight elevators. The elevator lobbies, decorated with a sycamore veneer and carpeting, open onto the atrium. Entrance: The building‘s main entrance is located on Mainzer Landstrasse. In addition, there is a garden exit leading to the landscaped outdoor area in the direction of Westendstrasse. Fire protection: In accordance with VDS guidelines, the building is fully equipped with a sprinkler system. Smoke detectors are installed in all halls; a gas extinguisher is located in the master server room. There are smoke and heat exhaust ventilation openings in the roof of the atrium and the stairwells are secured with a forced ventilation and smoke-heat ventilation system. Gallery: The gallery areas on the 6th and 7th floors open onto the atrium and are connected by a cantilever spiral staircase. The 6th floor is a communication level with office, meeting space and lounge area; the 7th floor can be used for conferences. Garden: The garden, located on the far side of the property is stylishly landscaped with integrated seating elements. IT: The master server room with its separate cooling system is located on approx. 150 sqm on the 1st basement level. Each of the upper office levels has a separate server room with a connection to the master server room at their disposal. IT cabling is also available, in accordance with CAT-7. Kitchens: Each office level benefits from a modern and fully-equipped kitchen with all appliances (dishwasher, microwave, refrigerator). Clear height is 3.00 m on the ground and 6th floors; all other upper levels benefit from a standard clear height of 2.75 m. Sprinklers, office lighting, recessed spotlights and loudspeakers are integrated in the suspended ceilings. Parking garage: The main access ramp leads from Mainzer Landstrasse into the underground parking garage situated on the 2nd basement level, offering 101 parking spaces, 6 of which are on movement plates. The underground parking garage is equipped with a sprinkler and a CO-warning system. Public transportation: Public transportation is within immediate proximity: two minutes by foot to the streetcar stop “Platz der Republik“ and five minutes to the main train station (400 m) with all train and subway connections. Reception: Upon entrance, a double-height reception hall and desk welcomes visitors with an attractive waiting area opening onto the atrium. Restrooms: Restroom facilities for both men and women are available in the core areas on every level. Disabled-access WCs with an emergency call system are located on the ground floor and the first basement level. Roof terrace: The two landscaped roof terraces situated on the 6th and 7th floors invite you to contemplate the views of Frankfurt and the CBD. Security: The building is equipped with video-surveillance at all access-points. The main entrance is secured by a personalized card-access system. Stairwells: Stairwells are located on both sides of the atrium. Storage areas: Storage rooms are located on the 1st basement level and are accessible by freight elevator. Structure: The complex is built on ground and 7 upper levels around a full-height atrium, over three basement levels. The standard floor plate represents 2,480 sqm and can be divided into 4 separate units, if desired. Ground and upper floors are equipped with restroom facilities, kitchens, janitorial rooms and server rooms. Sunshades/Solar Protection: All glass features are protected from sun and heat by thermal insulation; the façade benefits from lamella shades. Inside, windows are equipped with individually-adjustable textile blinds and the atrium’s glass roof has internal sun blinds. Windows: Offices are equipped with tilt and turn windows, except on the ground floor, which can be opened.
